We're seeking an experienced Project / Production Department Manager to oversee all production operations from end to end. This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for someone who excels in fast-paced construction environments, understands the workflow of project-based businesses, and knows how to lead teams to consistently hit revenue, schedule, and gross profit targets without compromising quality or safety.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage all active construction, masonry, and hardscape projects to achieve monthly revenue and gross profit goals.
- Own and update the Production Report twice weekly, covering job status, performance metrics, risk items, and projected outcomes.
- Lead daily production standups and weekly deep dives into high-risk jobs, delays, and operational bottlenecks.
- Drive workflow efficiency, resource allocation, and jobsite coordination across multiple crews and subcontractors.
- Oversee client billing, invoicing, collections, and cash flow to maintain strong financial health.
- Develop and manage cash flow projections for accurate planning.
- Review subcontractor payouts, payables, and vendor invoices for accuracy and proper authorization.
- Lead end-of-month closing for production: revenue, gross profit, variance reporting, and job costing analysis.
- Serve as the senior escalation point for client concerns, ensuring timely and professional resolution.
- Maintain consistent, high-quality communication standards across the production team.
- Review and advise leadership on General Contractor agreements, ensuring alignment with operational capacity and risk tolerances.
- Manage and maintain all required business licenses, certifications, and compliance documents.
- Publish the Accounts Receivable (AR) Report twice weekly, monitoring aging, collections progress, and outstanding balances.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management, operations management, or a leadership role within field services.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams while hitting revenue and margin goals in a project-based environment.
- Experience managing 100+ active projects of diverse scope and duration (from 1-2 day jobs to multi-month builds).
- Strong financial acumen: billing, collections, cash flow, job costing, forecasting, and monthly reporting.
- Proven success managing subcontractors, vendor relationships, and contract review.
- Excellent client communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of juggling multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Background in masonry, waterproofing, concrete, hardscape, landscaping, or specialty trades.
- Experience in residential or commercial home services or field-service operations.
- Previous role as a Project Manager, Production Manager, Operations Manager, or General Manager in a construction or specialty contracting environment.
The compensation is a $95,000 base salary plus a vehicle allowance and gas card.
Monday-Friday/ Hybrid Schedule- Ideal is LA based-visits clients periodically.
